ASH COLORS \ \ \

“I would suffer to see you not suffer”, I believe that is what Love means. I don’t know how much that has to do with the music i make, but the art can speak for itself - and if you two aren’t each other’s type then, what’evs, You and I can still relate. I’m happy you’re here.

I have suffered a lot and for a long time; Physical, mental, spiritual, social, financial - all at once. All due to major health issues that are still resolving today. But that 13+ years of pain forced me to be resilient and determinant. I hate seeing suffering. I love life, i love nature, i love people, i love music. I want the suffering I’ve had to go through to be put to good use - to save others from going through the same. So, I try to be genuine, honest, unafraid, and kind in service of love.

I was born in Michigan, been here my whole life. Spent 13 years in Davisburg, 19 in Holly, 2 in Waterford. Took a shine to music at 3 y/o. Wrote my first piece of music at 5 on piano. Was homeschooled ‘til 6th grade. Picked up guitar at 13. Wrote my first song at 15, same year I started my first band. Graduated Holly High 2010. Went to Oakland University for guitar performance, dropped out after a year and a half when my health issues began. Started performing covers for tips with a best friend at some restaurants in Holly while working as a builder’s assistant and used car porter - then car detailer later. Quit my jobs in 2013 to pursue music, though my health issues held me back tremendously. 5 years later I was finally, barely, able to pay all my bills with only gigs and moved out of my parents’ place for the third time. My health issues took a very bad turn for the worse in 2022 - putting me in the ER twice in one week and at my mothers house for 3 months to be taken care of. I was in hell for two years, went into debt trying to fix my health, and my step-father (who i was very close with) passed away due to his own tragic health issues during that time - I don’t know how i made it through. I stayed with my mother for 8 months after his passing to care for her. I super condensed my origin story here, but in between all that I kept using anytime i had on songwriting and the many other skills in order to one day launch my original music. For the last 3 years I’ve been working on finally breaking out of my shell, overcoming the majority of my health issues, and - with the massive support of my friends - releasing my first song, “Honey” (Oct 28th, 2025).

I got a lot of stories to tell, I’ll keep adding to this bio every month, but for now - thanks for reading. I hope you’re doing well. Lemme know you were here, comment anywhere with “Good to meet ya, Ash” and, of course, feel free to introduce yourself. Would love to make your acquaintance.
